Event: 8th National Neonatal Palliative and End of Life Care Conference: Babies with an uncertain future
Location: The Cavendish Conference Centre, 22 Duchess Mews, Westminster, London, W1G 9DT
Time: 9.30am – 4.30pm
Fee: £90. Fees for participants include course materials, a CPD certificate of attendance, refreshments and light lunch. Thanks to Slater Gordon for supporting this event.
Our speakers are now confirmed, and we are pleased to announce we now have a full programme for this conference; including a panel discussion on neonatal ethical issues, which promises to be the highlight of the day. Topics we have planned to work through include learning from families when a baby dies at the beginning of life, developments around perinatal mental health and an exploration of a perinatal palliative care pathway. We will also cover the development of palliative care within fetal cardiac care, collaboration and maintaining professional relationships and supporting staff in a neonatal unit as well as a mother’s perspective on her daughter’s journey from neonatal intensive care and beyond.
“A very interesting day that flowed well and was packed with information. Thank you for the opportunity to attend a truly inspiring day.” 2017 delegate
