ICPCN launches new e-learning course on COVID-19 and children’s palliative care

Adopting a children’s palliative care approach to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

ICPCN has launched our new e-learning programme on Adopting a children’s palliative care approach to the COVIS-19 Pandemic – This course looks at ways health care workers, community volunteers and family members may integrate a children’s palliative care approach during the COVID-19 Pandemic.  The course includes the core principles of CPC, assessment and management of distressing symptoms, communication with children while taking into account emotional, developmental, social and spiritual needs. The final module focuses on aspects of infection prevention control with specific emphasis on children and raises the importance of caring for the caregiver.
