Today Friday 8th October, was our Annual ‘Hats on 4 children’s palliative care day’. A day when we raise awareness of the need for children’s palliative care. This year, in light of the pandemic, we asked you to wear a ‘Hat and Mask’ for children needing palliative care on this day.
It was easy to join in – just wear a hat and mask, take a selfie, post it on social media using #HatsOn4CPC and donate to your local children’s palliative care service or ICPCN.
We would like to thank everyone who put on their hats and masks today in support of children’s palliative care, so that together we can reduce the unnecessary pain and suffering of the millions of children globally who don’t yet have access to palliative care.
We have photos from far and wide – all over the world, and it was great to see the support at the EAPC congress with speakers wearing hats and including #HatsOn4CPC day in their presentations. Find about more about #HatsOn4CPC day here and we will follow up soon with a report of the day.
